Bank Holiday Soul Weekend
This August Bank Holiday Sunday, Fred’s welcomes a full evening of soul, funk, disco and deep, soulful house.
From 7pm, Roger Williams, Souscarts of Panacea Radio and Mr Jonze take over the decks, with more names still to be announced.

On Thursday 3rd September, Amy & the Winos — a high-energy 7-piece live band from Southport — bring the unmistakable sound of Amy Winehouse to Frederiks on Hope Street. Expect a night packed with all the classics: powerhouse renditions of “Rehab,” “Back to Black,” “Valerie,” “You Know I’m No Good,” and more, delivered with the swagger, emotion, and jazz-soul flair that made Amy legendary.
Hailing from Southport, Amy & the Winos are a dedicated tribute act that captures the classic look and unmistakable sound of Amy Winehouse. As a full live band (often highlighted for their dynamic performances), they recreate the energy and authenticity of her hits with live instrumentation that honours her jazz, soul, and R&B roots. They’ve been lighting up local venues like Coopers Bar in Southport and are building a strong reputation for fun, respectful, and vibe-filled shows that get audiences singing and dancing along.
