AADAL
AADAL is where Scandinavian jazz meets the wide-open soundscapes of Americana, post-rock and indie. Led by guitarist Michael Aadal and featuring André Kassen (saxophone), Audun Ramo (bass) and Gunnar Sæter (drums), the quartet blends improvisation with strong melodic lines and spacious arrangements to create a sound that feels both cinematic and intimate. Their acclaimed debut album Silver (2021) marked them out for their genre-crossing style, while their live shows are celebrated for emotional depth and dynamic interplay. Rooted in jazz but reaching into the vast terrain of modern instrumental music, AADAL continues to push boundaries and take audiences on a journey through soundscapes both familiar and unexplored.
